    3. Richard- I descend from the David Barton-Ruth Oldham line also, but I believe you have more info than I. Nearly all my data comes from the book "Cloud Thrasher Barton Lineages" by Young.. However, I would like to join you, Ron and Hope on this search. My line after David & Ruth is: David O. Barton-Peggy Looney; Ruth Barton-George Calhoun; Elizabeth Calhoun-Robert Reeves; Del Reeves-Clara Dugosh; Annie Mae Reeves-Prentice Witt and then me (Gerald Witt) I live in Camp Verde, Texas (near Kerrville) which is not that far away from Hope. Contact me off line at: pgwitt@ktc.com Gerald Richard Reed wrote: > I am looking for anyone on the list whose line passes through or settles in > Calvert, Texas in Robertson County, formerly part of Milam County, Texas. > Of particular interest are Bartons from the line of Conway Oldham Barton son > of Thomas Barton and Sarah Keyes (of the David Barton-Ruth Oldham line) who > died in Elmore County, Alabama. > I am trying to find information on when Conway arrived in Texas and how > much land the Barton Plantation along the Brazos River outside Calvert > covered.
