Tim, My great grandfather JESSE DANIEL BARTON had a brother named GEORGE W. BARTON b. Feb. 1834 prob. New York County. My records show he married Esther (could it have been Elisabeth?) 1858 prob. Sullivan Co., New York. At one time he was living in Susquehanna, PA. I don't have any children for them but Georges' mothers name was Eleanor JANE BARTON and she was always called JANE. His father was WILLIAM BARTON. Some similarities and perhaps warrant further checking into. What do you think???
