Does anyone have any information on Robert Barton and Margaret Shields who married in Terre Haute IN in 1835? Robert Bruce Barton was born in Indiana in 1839 and I am trying to find who his parents might be. There is some evidence that leads me to believe that Robert and Margaret may be his parents.
