What I have is that Richard was the son of Benjamin and his first wife Mary Hale. He was born 1738/39 in Swansea, Bristol Co, Ma (according to Ma book of Vital Stats) Married 6-10-1762 Anne Gardner, also of Swansea and he died 1-3-1797 in Warren RI. He and Anne had 3 children Gardner b-11-28-1762 Mary b-12-9-1764 Richard II b-1-4-1770 m- Mary Fiske 7 children including Richard III b-1800 Bennington Vt. d-1879 Cambridge NY (my ancestor) I have some more if you would like.
