Boy, do I feel silly! After posting the rules I looked closely at what I had sent and realized that I gave the wrong information for unsubscribing from the lists! Each list has it's own unsubscribe address, so for those of you out there confused, here is the real deal: To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please send email to:(listname) -l-request@rootsweb.com (for list mail) or (listname)-d-request@rootsweb.com (for digest mail) replacing the (listname) with the name of your list, with the body message of UNSUBSCRIBE For example, to unsubscribe from the Barton list you would send your email to: barton-l-request@rootsweb.com or barton-d-request@rootsweb.com Sorry about the mixup and my sillyness!
