In a Gordon Co. GA cemetery book, I found in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery listing the following: Lewis, Phalba L. Barton 25 July 1829 1 Apr. 1900 Lewis, Joab 13 Feb. 1825 25 Mar. 1910 In the same listing next to Phalba is: JANE BARTON 9 Dec. 1795 29 Feb. 1884 According to an excerpt from a collection of newspaper clippings from Gordon Co., "She died at the home of her son-in-law, Joab Lewis." One of mother's cousins said she was the wife of Bailey Anderson BARTON and her maiden name was FIELD. His information was undocumented, however. Who were Phalba's parents and where was she born and married? Any clues and leads will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jane in Houston
