Dear Harriet, I'm doing research on Texas Bartons, but just really getting started since it was my mother's side. My latest relatives come from Coleman, Co. Texas, but were immigrants from MS, and SC. before that. I had some great uncles who also fought in the Battle of San Jacinto and so there may be some place where we can connect.
