I am the grandson of Lon Barton (b. 1907 TX d. 1938 OK). He was the son of Richard Conway Barton who married Bertie B. Morris. I have no birth or death dates for either. He was the son of John Harold Barton and Julia Bass. John was born in 1840 and died in 1887 and lived on the family plantation in Milam/Robertson Counties (Along the Brazos River). His father was Conway Oldham Barton who died at the Plantation in 1868 and was born in 1805. We do not know who his father or mother was. But he was named for his grandmother's Family. She was Ruth Oldham Barton (1734 VA to 1807), wife of David Barton who was born in 1730 in VA and died on an expedition with Daniel Boone in Kentucky in 1772. Ruth was the daughter of John Oldham and Ann Conway. Can any one help me connect the line with the missing generation(s).
