Parents of W. I. Kendrick Also WILLIAM ISHAM KENDRICK served as 1st Lt. Comd'g Detachment (this word too blurred to read) Co. B in CSA Army Andrea's notes at the bottom of this sheet say that the "Bible is owned by Mrs. William P. Few, RFD #1, Travelers Rest, SC" ....and.... "Mrs. Mamie Kendrick James was my first school teacher...Leonardo Andrea" Another sheet in the file headed "William Isham Kendrick 1835-1892 - Greenville County, SC - Family Record owned by Mrs. Walter M. Finlay, 102 Vannoy Street, Greenville, SC" gives some additional information:  This sheet was apparently typed on February 27, 1957, as she states that Mary Eveline Kendrick is still living on that date, as opposed to the 1962 date given by Andrea. The name of her father is given more fully as "John Wesley Watson Walker" and has a notation which reads " Grandfather ISHAM KENDRICK was married second on 17 April 1788 to ELIZABETH DUNCAN, Warren County, NC." and "Data collected from the Family Bible and Tombstones" She also gives William Isham Kendrick's second wife as Julia BROCK Gilreath. and **********Mary Ann Barton is shown in Willie Walker Findlay's record as born 23 May 1837 - died 15 October 1857 and child BENJAMIN F. KENDRICK born 12 October 1857 - died 9 June 1858.
