Sarah Goosen directed my attention to you. I haven't been working on the Bartons lately so didn't see your query to the Barton List. I don't know if Sarah gave you the url to my Barton Quest web site, but if not, the Moses Barton section is listed at the following url: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Valley/5277/patrimoses.htm I would certainly love to include Louisa's children to the list or any other data you'd like added. Also, if you'd like your email adr. added to the Moses Barton cousins list, I'd be happy to oblige. I've researched southern Bartons for years and didn't realize that Louisa and her husband stayed in SC so long. I've looked from AL to TX for them. Do you suppose they could have gone on to AL with the rest, then moved back to SC before eventually going to GA? This is really fascinating...another clue to add to the pile. Do you have documentation proving Louisa was the daughter of Moses? Just curious. Every little bit helps. One of the old family trees listed Louisa as being born in TN. That's what I've got on the web page because it was the best information I had on her to date. Sarah probably told you that it's as certain as can be without proof that your Moses and our Willis were close relatives. Moses was probably the uncle of Willis, but that is just speculation on my part. By the way, do you know anything about Henry Tucker or Virginia Fowler's ancestry? I'm also descended from both Tuckers and Fowlers. Look forward to hearing from you. They probably lived in the Anderson County, SC area, at least that is where Louisa and her husband John Sanders lived by the time of the 1850 census. Louisa and John later moved to Terrell Co, GA where they lived until they died. This is a vague query because I don't have much information, but any help would be appreciated. > > Thanks, Jennifer Payne > http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Pointe/3829/genealogy.html > > Their information is as follows: > Descendants of Moses Barton > > Generation No. 1 > > 1.
