Christie, Thanks so much for all the Barton information. A tip for any one who gets great info like what Christie gives us, I usually copy and paste all messages into my word processor and then go back to the file when I have time I read everything. I usually list the file as "Barton E-mails 1/17/00". You can have folders from each family name you are working on and save these to floppies so you will have records to go back to. You never know when you will find that elusive relative. It also helps clean up your mail boxes. I just received a 1500 name typed file from a relative on my Barton and Morris family and am still trying to absorbe everything, so I can't afford to miss one little link.
