    3. Hello Shirley, Barton in the Beans is such an unusual name that I cannot imagine that it occurs/occurred twice in totally different locations of England. However, if what your cousin's friend says is true then that suggests a connection between the two places. It might be helpful to establish the origin of the name I guess.
