Looking for the descendants of Joseph bell who was born about or between 1872 & 1875. Joseph bell's father was Robert Simon Bell who was born 1851 in Searcy, Arkansas,died 7-26-1907 in Woodville Oklahoma,buried in Woodville Cemetery,was postmaster in Woodville,Oklahoma 7-1888. Joseph Bell's mother was Martha N. Barton who married Robert Simon Bell 10-13-1871 in what was known as Pickens county. In my grandfather memories of Indian Territory he stated that Joseph bell his half brother was 16 years old when his mother Martha Barton died & his father Robert Simon Bell remarried to Ezetta Buck 10-1-1890 & she was 17 years old at the time of marriage. Joseph started working for a telephone company installing telephone lines in the territory & never did return home to Woodville,OK because of the conflict with his step mother. Robert Simon Bell & Martha N. Barton had three children. Looking for the descendants of these three children. For over two hundred years & in every line ! ! ! of the Bell family the first male was always named Robert S. Bell & it is possible that one of the sons & Joseph's brother was named Robert S. Bell. I have exhausted the cemetery list in trying to find where Martha N. Barton Bell is buried but cannot locate it. Does anyone have additional cemetery information to do a look up on her? Thank You!
