Tho I think his name may have been George William or William George. I have found him on census as William but I have a newspaper clipping referring to him as George. He started a Barton Family reunion in the late thirty's or early forty's. One year it was held in Taylor County, Iowa and the next year it was held in Cedar County MO. I have been to several of them.
