Frances Neikirk, I have some "stretches" for you that may be so thin they are nearly transparent, but let's see. My grandfather James O. Barton, had a brother named John. We know nothing of this John except he probably was born in 1863 and probably in Jackson County, Ohio. My grandfather was born in Jackson County, Ohio in 1861. These brothers had an uncle named Richard, who as far as we can tell, remained in Beaver County, Pa.. The father of these brothers came from Beaver County, Pa. through Jackson County, Ohio to Vigo County, In and Clark County, Illinois. My grandfather moved on up to Tazewell County, Illinois. I said it's pretty thin!! I'd like to find out something about my great uncle. Any thoughts??
