My g grandmother, Pheobe Barton Gard, was the daughter of Albert Barton and Sylvia ?. Sylvia died in feb. 1856. Albert was on the Iowa census (farm)1856. According to cnsus data Albert was born in Mass. according to the census data, and the children were born in Pa. They lived in Muscatine county Iowa when Sylvia died. the people in that county were very nice about looking up info for me. Have found no info what so ever on the family in Pa. and Mass. Any help out there? It would be appreciated. Norma
