I visited the cemetery in Gorman, TX this last weekend. I found the following Bartons: EDWARD THIRD SON OF GEORGE AND GERTRUDE BARTON BORN AUG. 13, 1868 DIED MAY 8, 1906 Blessed are the pure in heart Fort they shall see God. OPAL BARTON MAR 5, 1908 MAY 15, 1910 Our darling has gone before. Sleep on in thy beauty thou sweet angel child These are word for word and line for line. Edward's stone was a tall column type stone, about 8 ft. tall. Opal's was more standard in style and size. There may have been other Bartons, these were the two I saw and they were not together.
