Her John Barton b. 1809 in Tn and died in Indiana. He had a daughter named Malinda. Go to the Barton message board and read our emails. My Barton's did not arrive in Crawford, MO. from NC until 1869. My great grandfather Francis Marion Barton's older brother William came in 1869 and another brother Benjamin arrived a year later. Francis arrived there in 1881. My wife and I just came back from a BARTON FAMILY RETREAT north of Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area. (13-15 Oct.) Met a lot of new cousins and had a fantastic time. Let's keep in touch.
