Mo. area. Barton's who went to Forest Hill vicinity: William Barton, b. 20 Nov. 1831, the oldest son of John Milton and Sophia Kytle Barton did not arrive in that area until 1869. Julie Ann b. 1829 m. Eli S. Hamlin Malinda Jane b. 2 Mar. 1835 m. George Washington Alexander Benjamin b. 10 Dec. 1840, never married Francis Marion, 4 Feb. 1845, m. Laurentine Kelly William, Benjamin and Malinda are buried in the Cross Roads Cemetery. The cemetery is adjacent to the Cross Roads Baptist Church. Benjamin left $1,000.00 to the church. The money was used to rebuild the church building and the resulting structure is the main building of today. My wife Lee Ann and I visited the cemetery in Oct. of 2005, looking for the gravesite of my great grandmother Laurentine Kelly Barton. We could not locate the grave. There are six or more Barton tombstones in a row near the entrance to the cemetery. I would be able to pinpoint more info, if you would send me more info on each person, birthplace, birthdate, county, city and state. Also, when they died and where. Wally
