Hello to all of you wonderful people on the Barton list! :) I appreciate your posting! If you ever have a Martha N. Barton who married a Robert Simon Bell ,10-13-1871 in Pickens county Chickasaw Nation (Oklahoma) to show up I your line? Please contact me. Together they had three children and one was named Joseph Bell. She died and Robert Simon Bell remarried 10-1-1890. They lived in Woodville(Oklahoma) Indian Territory & were married by his father who was Rev. R.S. Bell who ran Burney Academy for the Chickasaw Indians in Woodville, 1860. I have been looking for years for this Martha N. Barton in cemetery's,etc,etc. This is absolutely all of the information I have on her. So, :) please don't ask me for the name of her parents,etc, etc for I am trying to find out & seek more information on her. I feel very blessed just to know this information I have acquired which isn't much. But if I keep asking people to look on there charts then maybe one day I will find more info. on her and her children that she had with my Grandfather.
