Hello everyone, For the people that have already seen this... Please excuse me, for the new rush of individuals (34) that have joined the list in the last day. WELCOME.. Glad to have you and look forward to hearing which line of Bartlett you are.. For the two individuals from the United Kingdom, WELCOME.. We look forward to having more of you join us.. I would like to take this time to welcome all of you to the Bartlett Roots mailing list.. I'm the TILADY@AOL.COM.. otherwise known as Ruth or Ruthie or Hey there... I'm the list owner and newbie at this.. I'm new at this and I'm just tring to get my feet firmly planted and know what I'm doing.. So if I do something stupid, or I send something twice to the list.. I'm new at this.. and I'm still learning.. I live in St. Pete Fla, and in my area alone of 15 mile radius there are THREE GENEALOGY libraries and two Family History Centers.. If any of you are Distant (Bartletts without a family tree to connect to) Cousins, and need a little help in locating your family tree, please email the group or email me privately.. and let's see what I can do or who out there can help.. My line is Robert & Ann Warringer Bartlett of the Lion... Some people want to connect thier line to Robert & Mary Warren Bartlett or Robert & Mary ANN Warren or Warringer Bartlett together.. I have spent many a evening surfing the Web, sending email after email correcting the problem.. I'd be willing to help anyone just please be a little patient... This is all new to me.. Now for some really great news.. As of Friday June 26rd this roots list is on the a UK Genealogy Web page and will soon be on Scotland's Genealogy Web page.. So look forward to welcoming the English and Scottish to our humble home.. Starting in two weeks, July 15, or 16 or 17 on the Bartlett Para Chat room located on Tammy's web page that she has graciously allow me to hook up to.. There will be a Chat on the Richard of Newbury line.. I would like to hear from some of the Knowledgeable people about some of the interesting tibbits about that family.. If there are not enough people then I will take suggestions from this group about what they would like to Chat about.. I would love to hear from ANYONE who has an interesting story about thier line of Bartlett's.. Do we have any WITCH STORIES?? DO WE HAVE ANY INTERMARRIAGE STORIES?? OR How about Stories about Families moving west or what people did way back then.. I have a few stories about Robert & Ann and I have found a few stories about two Bartlett's that are Buried at the ANDERSONVILLE PRISON in Georgia during the Civil War.
