The only information I have on my Bartlett line if from the Nicholson family bible. The inside cover of the bible reads: Alexandria, Va - March 10, 1864 P.C. and J.F. Bartlett Present this book to their daughter Francis Deaton Bartlett To be kept by her as a gift from them May the Lord bless this Francis Deaton Bartlett is my great-greatgrandmother. I am assuming that Deaton is her mothers maiden name. I was told a few years back by my Uncle Robert Nicholson that one of our Bartlett cousins in the Front Royal, Virginia area has the Bartlett family bible with information dating to the 1700's, but have lost contact with our Bartlett clan some many years back.
