I am looking for the parents of my Ggrandfather Horace E. Bartlett. He was born in Illinois in 1858 or 1859. We have found him in the 1880 Wisconsin census working as a hired hand for his future in-laws. The census report says he was born in Illinois and his parents were born in Ohio. His marriage certificate says he was living in Macon Co., Missouri when he married Ella Lavina Abrams in Blue Earth Co., Minnesota. Horace and Ella divorced after about five years and the story goes that Horace died in a wagon accident going west with a Mormon wagon train. Horace and Ella had one son Guy Edward Bartlett who married Clara Eveline Morrow. Guy and Clara eventually made their way to New York State where they bought a farm and had a family of 13 children. I and a lot of my cousins would like to know which line of Bartletts we are decended from. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Phil Kratzer
