Dear Bartlett Researchers, I felt a need to write this open letter to explain about the Bartlett Genealogy Foundation Repository.. The Bartlett Genealogy Foundation Online Repository is a totally free, open research site. You may use or download anything from the page for personal use. Thats what it is there for. If you pass something on from the page to another person, or copy it to your personal genealogy, then all I ask is that you give the Foundation or the person who submitted the data credit for the information we were able to provide you with. This site is a vast resource of information that is here for you to research from, this is because of all of the Bartlett cousins that came before you and shared the information . Just be kind, give credit where it is due, and share back if you are able. Thats all I ask. COPYRIGHT... Just for your general information, no one can copyright names, dates, places. No one can truly copyright a genealogy, only the form the genealogy is in. Such as a Gedcom of your family tree, you can copyright that, but if you pass it along to another to share with them and they in turn make a Family Tree Genealogy File, they can copyright it in that form. You can only copyright the form the genealogy is in, not the names, dates, places etc... in it. BARTLETT WAR... There is none, what goes on between me and someone else is our business and should not have been brought to this list for you the innocent Bartlett cousins to be brought in on.. Funding of the Bartlett Genealogy Online Repository I fund the site myself and to provide a place where you my cousins can gather information, to help you further your family genealogy. For how long will I maintain this site, I hope and pray for a very long time. Any and all work done is done straight from the my heart, and any genealogy found at this site, either I have done it or can put you in touch with the person who has donated that branch. BRASSY... Many people think my name is Tammy Ann Bartlett Harrison, well yes and no. Sometimes its just BRASSY. As a young Mother of two growing boys, a wife, genealogist, full time dish washer, camp director, nurse etc...You get the drift. I tend to have time for nonsense, or people who cause me stress, and as you all know have no problem letting someone know this. ON THE OTHER HAND... I am as honest as the day is long, truthfull to a fault at times. A bit blunt most of the time. I will not stand for any nonsense of one person taking advantage of another.
