Yesterday I posted a message correcting an error in an earlier message about pre-1850 Texas marriage records. In doing so I introduced another error. I meant to say that Washington County, Texas Marriage Records state that the marriage license for Joseph C. Bartlett and Amanda M. Estes was issued on 15 April 1839 and returned on 26 April, not on 16 April.
