I quite accidentally stumbled across this web site while looking for something else entirely. There are a wealth of names in the 1861 record of the South Carolina Baptist Association; sadly they don't appear to be indexed. There are other links at the bottom, I haven't investigated, but appears to be from Univ. of NC at Chapel Hill. May be worth looking at. (I didn't see any BARRETT names on first pass.) Marilyn
