Hello All, Well I have been at it again!!!! As all of you know it is my main goal to bring Reuben Barrett Descendants together and in the process I have met some fantastic people, all of you being my "cousins" was just an added delight. I have set up a live chat room on the Reuben Barrett Branches Website! It is easy to access and you don't have to download anything. And it is FREE. There is a Blue Box on the top of the Index page of the website, the address is: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~barrettbranches/ All you have to do is click the button to the left that says "Chat Now" it will open a page and you just type your name in it and it takes you to the Reuben Barrett Descendants Chatroom. (There may be other pages that pop up that are advertisements, just close them.) I think this will be a great way for all of us to get together to discuss our family lines, the DNA project, The Reunion, The DAR Marker, the headstone, or just to chat and get to know each other better. I will post on the list and the webpage the day and times (after we all agree on it), we can all meet. As I know we all have busy schedules with kids, church, and life in general. I am open to any day or time if ya'll would like to start sending in suggestions for our first "discussion." They don't have to be at the same time and day every week and I would like to keep it flexible for everyone. We can also have more than one a week if some can't make it and others can. Red had tried this once a year or so ago but a lot couldn't get into the domain he had it on, so it was abandoned, but we have this list now and also we have so much going on that I think it will be easier to discuss everything that we have planned. I am really excited about this and I hope everyone will make an effort to come check on everything that is going on and give your suggestions and comments. I can't wait to hear from everyone and I am really looking forward to chatting with everyone. I hope to hear from everyone soon.
