I heard Mrs. Reeves speak at a meeting of the Ft. Worth Genealogical Soc. in 1972, and bought one of her books at that time. By the way, I know I connect somehow to Mr. Reeves through my Dickey line, but am saving that line for a rainy day! It is amazing how one chance experience--such as my going to that genealogy society meeting with friends--can lead to amazing break-throughs! Mrs. Reeves' daughter, Carolyn Ericson, has contributed much to Texas research, having published several important books. MY daughter tells me she's going to come in my house when I die and throw all that JUNK away! Where did I go wrong?
