I think this is the photo of the two men by the barn door, right, Debbie? Don, isn't this from your collection? I recognized Great-Uncle Dave Barrett, but we didn't know the other man and first thought it might be our own Grandfather McCan. The back of the photo says "Jim McCan" if I remember right; but it probably was written there just to identify the person to whom the photo was to be given. That's my guess. It was dated 6/16/1902. Don--please mark your copy of that photo; you can write the Elijah's name and put it on the back with a self-stick label, to keep from damaging the original. Hallie, did we send you a copy? Thanks, Deb!!!
Hi there, I am sending an attachment with a picture and this is how the back reads L-R Hollis Hilton Black"Estelle's husband---Bledido"Virginia's husband and Virginia Seale---Uncle Liz Seale and wife Ida Barrett---Angeline Seale Barrett---Annie Laura Barrett---Shorty Seale---James T Hopkins husband of Annie Laura---child unknown and Bessie Barrett Moffatt (1946) Mother said Uncle Liz was her favorite uncle,he thought pregnant women were pretty. She doesn't know who the little boy is but says he is one of Elijah's grandchildren.
