My line runs Reuben-Joseph-John Napolean- Miles and then, my grandmother, Olly (Ollie was her spelling)Barrett Mayes.I have been widowed twice , had four children by my first husband-who committed suicide, lost the middle two sons in accidents 10 months and 12 days apart, leaving my eldest son and my youngest, our only daughter. My second spouse died Nov.2001. So, I'm alone again. I got into genealogy as a past-time to keep from being so lonely and depressed. I know one thing, it is almost addictive. But, I , too enjoy doing the research.Do you know if any of our Barrett cousins may know WHAT happened to Miles? When did and where did he die??My second cousin and daughter of Frances Louise (Fannie Lou) Barrett Dalton said he died in Boyle, MS. I don't know in what cemetery . She says she can go to, it but can't remember the name.Anyway, Pleased to meet another "New" cousin, As ever,Gaye
