My grandfather was William Oliver Barrett of Lexington, whose father was T.H.W. Barrett of Edwards, whose father was Oliver Barrett of Jackson, interred in Greenwood Cemetary on North West Street in Jackson, whose father was Don Carlos Barrett, a member of the Texas legislature buried in Brazoria, Texas and a one-time friend of Sam Houston.
