Jack, Hello, it is so nice to hear from you again. I know how involved you are with your church and all and please know that you will be missed at the reunion! Thank you for the kind words, and I thank everyone for helping me to help others. I think that is a great idea to have a reunion for the David Barrett descendants in Madison County!! I would love to hear what the others think about it. I need to ask for some special prayers from everyone. I am going thru a bunch of tests and there is a possibility of breast cancer and uterine cancer. So please please everyone pray for me that everything will turn out ok. I will have two tests done tomarrow, the sonogram on the tumor and a mammogram. So please tomarrow if everyone can say a small prayer for me, I know it will help. God knows my 5 sons need me and I know He will watch over me and my family. But I need my extended families thoughts and prayers also. Love to all, Janet

Janet, Please don't loose faith. I know you are scared. My daughter had tumors in both of her breast that results come back benign on Christmas Eve.After doctors misdiagnosed my husband for eighteen months he was an earlier stage three lymphoma hogkins, stage four is fatal. I believe that the strength of my family's faith is why he is cancer free now. Yes there is the technology that is there but I truly believe that prayer is a very strong medicine. If there is anything I can do Bryan is a hop skip to your place. Just let me know. Janet, Hope the test turn out to be negative. If they are positive, Dede and I hope you will be in contact with M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. We are volunteers in the Eastern Star Handicraft workroom each Tuesday. This program supplies handicraft kits to the patients and caregivers without a charge. This is to help them have something to do while undergoing cancer tests, surgery and recovery. The program was started when the hospital was founded in an agreement with 18 Eastern Star Chapters in the Houston area. We now have groups working in the Rosenburg, Clear Lake and several other areas. We will keep you in our prayers.
