marilyn, I have also gotten an e-mail from a Reuben Descendant in Mississippi who said her and her sister and families will be attending. I also got an e-mail from Troy Splawn who said his parents are taking his grandmother who is in her 80's or 90's!! Said she is sharp as a tack too so we will get to hear some great stories in my David line. She is the great-granddaughter of Stephen Reding Barrett. (Stephen Reding, John Daniel, Mattie (who rode in a showbox when she was born because her mother died and her father took her to Madison County) and her. Don't quote me on the generations but I think thats how it goes. (So I may be wrong.) I think the article was a fantastic idea and it seems to be reaching alot of people already.
