I plan to order the marker the last part of this week. If you have any comments, suggestions, etc. now is the time to make them. I have received enough in donations to cover the first payment which is due when I place the order. We are about $600 short of the final payment. I would hate for the company to take it out in trade. If you have already made you donation in cash, time, or mailings etc. this does not apply to you. For the others, I hate to keep bring this up, but I will have to have additional funds when the marker is accepted and I'm sure this will be done before the reunion. We can't expect the company to set the marker the weekend we are there. It needs to be done in advance. With my luck, if they waited it would rain all week and it would be too wet for them to get into the cemetery. If you haven't made your motel reservations that needs to be done also. I'll be checking on the status of the reservation the first week of March. Only three months left, as of today. I hope to see all of you in Greenville. I know some will not be able to be there.
