I'm not sure that the newsletter will generate a lot of questions anyway. I'm getting more anxious to go to our Barrett reunion. My dad and I are planning on being there Friday afternoon and staying until Monday afternoon. I have a history teacher friend by the name of Perry Barrett who should be coming and he has volunteered his knowledge of The Battle of Cowpens and Kings Mountain to be a tour guide if anyone would like to take a short trip up to see that area around Greenville. These were two important battles in the Revolutionary War and they are close to the Greenville area. Reuben Barrett might have fought in these battles since he was a Revolutionary War vet.
