Don Brundage [email protected] BARRETT CHARLIE BARRETT "MUSTANG MAN" Charlie Barrett, age 69 of Marietta, GA., a native of Jackson County, GA., died Sunday April 6, 2003. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003 in the Jonquil Chapel of Castellaw Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, GA. Survived by daughters, Candy Bennett, Marietta; Karen Gooden, Marietta; sons, Jeff Barrett, Mableton; Tim Barrett, Marietta; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was founding member #58 of The Mustang Club of America, the Dixie Ventures Auto Club and a founding member of the Marietta Auto Fair. He was a retired PBX Repairman for Lucent Technology, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the C.C. Riders Car Club. He was known throughout the Marietta area as the "Mustang Man".
