Hello All, I need help with this decision. The lady I am working with at the publishers want me to decide what color the cover of the book should be. I need to tell her by wed. The woman who is binding them seems to think that a red would look good, because of the gold lettering on the cover and the spine. But I also think a navy blue would be pretty. Remember I am going to have several more books done and they will all be like a set together on a shelf because I intend them to be a part of a series. So, I would like everyone's opinions on what color I should go with, you can e-mail me to my box if you want or to the list up to you. Even the lurkers I would like to know what you think. And I will keep track and whichever choice is the most is the one I will go with. She isn't sure they will be delivered by the reunion, a problem with the binding schedule, but she is putting a rush on 3 hardcover's so I can take them to the reunion and everyone can see them. (They will be the 3 I ordered for my immediate family, so no one else's will be touched) But there is no problem getting the soft covers before the reunion. So the 3 Theda ordered and the 1 Jack ordered should be here mid May like we planned. But I still need to send the payment in as soon as possible, so please make sure you get it to me as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing your opinions and thanks for the help. Hugs, Janet PS I have already started the list for the second order and have 3 people on it.
Janet, Red is never my preferred color, but a set of books bound in red would look impressive on any shelf, and would command attention immediately. For that reason I vote for red.
