I would also suggest that we think about making a donation to the local genealogy and local history department of the public library, or to Furman University archives and library (where the Baptist records are housed), with the specification that it be used to purchase research materials and/or to preserve local history. We can all afford to chip in a few dollars for our own lunch, don't you think? Karen
