    3. Dear Friends, My father died Thursday, April 8 at home. His funeral was yesterday. The living testament to my father is his love for and dedication to Jesus Christ; he touched many lives. Every person who spoke to me said, "He was a great man." Thank you for your prayers, love, and support. My dad lived 2 years and 6 months past the time the doctors gave him. I believe it was because of his faith and the many prayers that went up for him all over this country that sustained him. Thank you again. Marilyn Dowdy
