Just a reminder that we will be dedicating the DAR marker for Reuben at 2:00 pm May 22, at the cemetery. Everyone is invited. I received confirmation today that the DAR marker has been attached to the stone. I still don't know what is will cost us to have the marker attached. When we were there last year the man who was suppose to drill the mounting hole retired after having a hip ball joint replacement. The local monument company was unable to find anyone else to drill the holes so they took the stone back to Georgia to have that done. Susan, the preacher's wife, had Jake, the preacher, go to the cemetery this morning to check on the stone. He reports that he believes we will be very pleased.
