Hello All, I just wanted to let everyone know I finished putting the pictures on Gerry Dickens Barrett/Doughty page. (sorry it took so long my pc has been acting up) Also Karen Hett has shared the letter written by Hettie McCan Hale, daughter of Amanda Barrett McCann, with us all. In the letter she describes her mother's death and the kind of person her mother was..it is a very touching letter. Karen has included scans of the original letter as well as a transcription and description of who each person is that is mentioned in the letter. Also included on the page is a beautiful picture of Hettie and her parents. Karen has done a wonderful job on this webpage. I am very proud of her. You can get to these new pages by going to : www.reubenbarrett.com and then scrolling down to the researchers boxes and clicking on their names. I have also put a link to Karens letter on Amanda Barrett McCan's page (daughter of John Whitten Barrett and Hulda Reding Barrett, son of David Barrett (for those of you not in the David line) I recommend everyone reading the letter as it is very heart touching..and besides I like to brag on Karens webpages, she has come a long way since she first started her section.
