    3. Deb, I just looked at this record online. I don't believe the check in the race column has anything to do with race. In many cases both parents had checks but the children didn't. The checks didn't always apply to adults, so I'm not sure what this recorder was trying to tell us. 3. Thank you Jim, I bounced around looking for people who I know the origin of their race and the Barrett's in Neshoba County that are ours had some check marks too. So I guess it possibly means father and mother or something like that. I want to thank you and everyone who made the gathering at South Carolina such a wonderful family event. I so wished I could have gone. Thank you for all your hard work, I too am so proud to be a part of this family. A special thanks to everyone and I would not have noticed Marilyn's attire had she not mentioned it. I loved her story and it will be a memory held close to everyone's heart ,especially for those who got to attend.
