    2. Jim, Marilyn and everyone else, I am so proud that this DAR ceremony is going to take place for Reuben. We all have worked so hard in the last few years to bring his life recognition again. And to make his life a lasting remembrance after 200 years of sleeping. He has gone from descendants scattered throughout the US not really knowing each other to having a warm loving family again. From two small stones with their initials on them to a beautiful headstone that will be able to be seen for generations to come and now with the loving care of Marilyn and Jim, his military career will stand in marble so those same generations may hold their heads up proud and know that we even after 200 years are proud of our grandfather. He received the "funeral service " he should have gotten the first time around two years ago, and now he will receive the Military Service he should have gotten then also. He was a wonderful, caring man when he lived, it is only fitting that we all show him that even after 200 years his blood has passed on to many many more wonderful caring generations of grandsons and granddaughters. My heart is truly touched to know that I am one of those Granddaughters and that I am a part of this loving caring family. I want so much to be there and to be a part of this ceremony, and will do everything I can to be there, as I hope everyone else will be. If not, then please know that Marilyn said she would record the ceremonies and make it available for our family website so all of us can share in it. Marilyn, Jim I am very proud of both of you. Hugs, Janet
