Dear Barrett Kin, The DAR dedication of the marker on our grandparents, Reuben and Hannah Barrett, grave was very touching. It was done with respect and honor. Those attending were proud to have been a part. Those of you who were unable to attend for whatever reason would have been proud too. As you cross the road from the church, the marker is easily seen and it seems to say, "Here I am. You can find me now." On this day, Memorial Day, our thanks to our Reuben and Hannah for our freedoms that we so much enjoy. And thanks to each of you for whatever part you did, great or small, for helping provide the marker for our wonderful ancestors. Love, Hallie Johnson
