Jim, Sorry for the tardy reply, I've been offline for a few days - just too busy to check my email. I got an email from Jean re Joan's condition but it was sent last Tuesday. It looks like Glenn got an update from Buddy yesterday and posted it so that's the latest. It sounds like she's holding her own but not much more at this point. I think you have her current mailing address (which you posted) so you could send cards there I would think. Don't have the address of the hospital in Jackson (I'm in southern California). In any case I want to thank you and everyone else for their prayers and concern. Apparently she contracted a rare blood disorder - thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TPP), which is quite serious and which also caused her to have a minor stroke. I just talked with her husband Buddy and she's stable and improving but not yet out of the woods. For those that are of a mind to do so, a prayer would not be amiss.
