    3. Good Morning to all my Barrett Cousins, I called & talked to Joan's husband. He said she is in bad shape. She first contracted a rare blood disease call TTP. Don't know the medical name for it but maybe some out there can enlighten us. To make matters worst she has O- blood type which is rare. They found enough to get her through the "crises" but apparently are have difficulty acquiring additional blood. She was moved to a room at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson ,MS but was only in the room 2 days before she was moved back to ICU where she is now. I left my home & cell number so that I can keep up with how she is doing. As I hear I will post it. Or if you want their new phone number it is 601.939.6134. I told her husband (sorry I forget his name) that WE would all be praying for her speedy recovery. So please take a moment now to ask God for his help. In His Service, Glenn Morris Bedford, TX

    3. Before Joan got sick she sent the following message: "On the morrow Bud and I will be moving. Our new address is 504 Spring Lake Drive, Pearl, MS., 39208. Our new phone number is working now and is 60l-939-6134. My new e-mail address will be working in a few days and will be joan_blanks@bellsouth.net. Please be in touch." She referred to her husband as Bud. When Dale told us about Joan being sick he referred to her husband as Buddy. When they registered for the reunion he use Boots. If any of you are type O- you might check to see if you can donate for her. I believe any of us who are able to donate can donate to her account, but we need her account information. Glenn would you try to get that information for us. I know the hospital will have it and Boots may. If he doesn't, he can get it. I can't donate again until the end of next month. 3. Jim, Here is the NAMES of Joan's husband. 1# Being fist born he was named "Boots" after his father' collage room mate. 2# His Grandfather called him his "Little Buddy" when he was in his crib so "Buddy" stuck. 3# He answers to "Bud as it is short for Buddy. Now you know the rest of the story. He said he would answer to all three. Now on Joan condition he said she is doing better this afternoon. He did not know what her blood account was but said it was administered by "Mississippi Blood Services" in Jackson. I called Baptist Hospital in Jackson & they said to contact Carter or United Blood Services here in TX & they would take care of the necessary paper work to get it credited to Joan's account there in Jackson. I will call on Monday to Carter or United & get the particulars on what needs to be done then post what I find out. Jim, I hope all is well with you & Janet. Let Wannetta & I know when you two want to eat catfish again.
