Cousins – Just wanted to let you all know that our cousin (1st cousin to me) Joan Barrett Blanks who is a member of this list – some of you might remember her from the reunion last year – was taken ill over the holiday weekend and is in the ICU at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. Apparently she contracted a rare blood disorder - thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TPP), which is quite serious and which also caused her to have a minor stroke. I just talked with her husband Buddy and she’s stable and improving but not yet out of the woods. For those that are of a mind to do so, a prayer would not be amiss. Thanks, Dale Barrett

Dale, Thanks for letting us know. I hope she is doing much better by now. Wouldn't you know our list would be down at a time like this. I believe it was two weeks ago this coming Monday that Joan and Buddy moved into their new home. Karen, In reply to your message which hasn't been received by me yet, Jonesboro is in Craighead Co. There is a web sight that has some of Caswell's line on it. I post more later.
