    3. Isn't there a preservative sold at craft places like Michaels,or Ben Franklins that could be used on a scrap book? Or why couldn't a place like Kinko's or UPS or any place that does large volume of printing be asked for tips on how to preserve something that precious? Could it be carefully disassembled and each page scanned or perhaps a large library might have some good info how to preserve and store old documents. Just a few suggestions.
