    3. Congratulations, Jim! And of course, my first question is: is Conner descended from the Thomasons who lived in Lawrence Co., Ala.? George and Melinda Burke Thomason immigrated to Montgomery County, Texas, in 1842. Hopefully, Conner is a Texan from way back! 3. Thanks Karen, First I must correct the way I spelled his name. Debra tells us it is Connor, not Conner. Connor is a Texan form way back, but on his mother's side. Jan had family here when the declaration of independence was signed March 2, 1836. My first Texas resident didn't get here until about 30 years after that event. Connor's father's line didn't arrive here until after Debra and Scott were married. Scott's family comes from Habersham Co., GA Jim Barrett Bedford, TX parino@flash.net Barrett Surname DNA Project Powell Surname DNA Project -----Original Message----- From: Karen Hett [mailto:kmchett@thegateway.net] Sent: Sunday, March 07, 2004 12:25 PM To: BARRETT-REUBEN-SC-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Barrett-Reuben-SC] Re: BARRETT-REUBEN-SC-D Digest V04 #45 (Thomasons) Congratulations, Jim!
