The following are Barraclough baptismal entries from a series of 10 fiches from the LDS, Number 6343809, for the Parish of Ecclesfield in the County of York, PR 54/9,. I am not including the eight children of Thomas and Sarah Barraclough or the two belonging to Thomas's brother Henry and his wife Elizabeth because I think I am the only one interested in this line but if anyone would like them, please let me know. The other Barraclough entries are: Elizabeth, daughter of John and Alice Barraclough, Southey, Engineer, by Tho. Wilkinson, 24 July 1864, #3437 Harry, son of John and Annie Barraclough, Southy House, Engineer, by Tho. Wilkinson, 23 May 1866, # 3669 Frank, son of John and Annie Barraclough, Southy, Surveyor, by Alfred Gatty, Vicar, 4 March 1868, #3895 Herbert, son of John and Annie Barraclough, Southey, Surveyor, by G. Haydon, 6 October 1869, #4297 These entries are exactly as recorded. I believe 'Alice' and 'Annie' are one and the same person.
